biografieOver the past twenty-five years Mik has established a sound reputation as a senior executive coach and executive team facilitator both in her practice in The Netherlands and abroad. Since 2004 she has been working internationally for well-known international leadership institutes such as the Kets de Vries Institute (Paris/London), INSEAD (Fontainebleau/Singapore/ Abu Dhabi), ESMT (Berlin) and IMD (Lausanne).

Mik specializes in working with non-executive boards, top executives (C-suite) and cross cultural executive teams, developing into high performing individuals and teams. Her clients include international companies in dredging/marine contracting, aviation, publishing, pharma and biotechnology, construction, (fast moving) consumer goods as well as professional firms in strategic consulting, finance, tax and law.
Non-profit clients include (semi-) governmental organizations, symphony orchestras and university hospitals.

Mik held staff and leadership positions in legal business, aviation, publishing and international consultancy.  As partner of KPMG she initiated and managed KPMG coaching company in The Netherlands, which she continued after leaving KPMG in 2004. Since then she runs this practice independently.

Mik‘s style is encouraging, confrontational when necessary and most of all: enabling, engaging and result oriented.

A certified teacher of the English language and literature, Mik holds a certificate in Change Management from SIOO/University of Amsterdam in addition to an Executive Master’s Degree in ‘Consulting and Coaching for Change’ from INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau. She is a member of the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations.

Mik coaches in English and Dutch, she speaks German and French as well. She lives with her husband on the border of a polder nature reserve, north of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
